Im getting an error message stating that Im missing an aspi layer for my vcd 2.7 combo pack. Im trying to install onto Windows Xp. The vcd galaxy website is down (have been unable to reach them for days). Can someone tell me exactly what this is and where I can find it? Ive tried to rip dvds without this layer to no avail... Upon installing the program, it states that I need to install the layer. It does not say where to find it or where to put it when found.

Hi,

Does it give you an error message? If so, what does it say? HTH

Yes, when I loaded the program onto windows. It said that I am missing the aspi layer. The site I downloaded the program from, vcd galaxy, warned me that I would need it and it did not come in the program. It does not say what it is or how to obtain it. I recieved a similar error message when I tried a ripping program called dvix. I could not get the audio to sync with the video using it. I have gotten through to their site finally and joined their forum but you are not allowed to post for three days after signup.

Can anyone tell me what an aspi layer is? Is it related to my operating system or would it be part of the ripping program? The answer to this may be enough to get me on my way. Thanks, Dan
