Novell Netware 5

Colleagues of mine asked me to post a problem that they are having with Novell Netware 5. It hangs during installation. They have tried in on all sorts of different machines. The disks that they are using are evaluation disks. Not copied disks either.

What kind of servers, memory, cards,at what point does it hang?

If you have in fact tried it on several different machines (different network cards, video cards, etc), then it could just be the disks. I think I recall that there were problems with some of the 3-user evaluation CDs that were sent out, but I may be mistaken.

Either way, as romele pointed out, I think it would be good to know *exactly* where it hangs.

Just for kicks, go to http://support.novell.com/ and search for 2950972 and 2952575 (go to the "Search" field and type in those numbers to access the TIDs). May not be your specific situation, but it's a start. (BTW - Novell's support site is pretty good)
