I initaly wanted to buy a antec SoHo server case and paint it, thus resembling a Alienware case but then I changed my mind when I decided it would be too boring and kept looking around for ideals. Then I went to VooDooPc's ( http://www.voodoopc.com ) site and looked at their nice cases, I then decided to make their F550 Advanced Aluminum Chassis covered in a Lamborghini Bright Yellow.
Here is a picture of the case: http://www.voodoopc.com/kitchen/product_images/X-CAS-COL-HI-YEL_550_big.jpg

Can anyone provide any advice before I go on this journey. I belive that the first step is to get the Cooler Master ATX-210, then replace the blue glass with clear. Then do paint research. Because I don't have all the money now I will do the paint research today. Can anyone here give me some advice about the paint? Thanks.

I've heard the Plasti-kote brand works well for PCs. Otherwise, if you have a paintgun, you can't go wrong with PPG automotive paint. Some paint stores even have the pro paint they can mix up, and put into a spray can for ease of use. So you can get the high-quality stuff, with the convinience of a spray can.

You might ask around at your local auto paint shops, you might find someone that would do it professionally for a reasonable price.

Spray paint is ok, but it scratches easily, and it is hard to get a good coat if you aren't careful, especially with the "glossy" stuff.

Hi Krono,

Check out ColorCases, that have one called PhatCase that almost has that exact glass.

As for the paint job, this is the best paint guide I've seen.

This guide is pretty detailed as well.

Hope that helps.

Good luck on the project, make sure to post some pictures when it's done. I'd really be interested in doing something similar, maybe red though. :D
