The Longest Journey is really a great game; I recommend it to everyone who loves adventure games. The demo amazed me and I really dragged me into the story... Try it!
Goto http://www.longestjourney.com/ to get it.
I checked a lot of Canadian stores and they don't have it... so I'm ordering it from http://www.cdaccess.com/
If you're an all time adventure game fan, you'll definitely fall in love with TLJ!

This would have probably been more appropriate in the 3d Gaming forum.

However, Ricksta there is a special section for games and gamers. I believe this would be more appealing in the games forum. Don't you agree?

Ok, I have played the demo though, most hard core gamers will most likely look at this game as a waste of time. However I welcomed the change. Figuring out what to do next. There were a few places I almost had to ask for help, but I managed.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the demo is over when you sink the ship, right?
I bet in the full version you get washed up on a beach....I would like to play the full game, but it is not the kind of game I would go out and buy.
I did like the graphics...
Side note: It runs better with Direct X 8 beta.

Waste of time? Those must not be hardcore "adventure" gamers you're talking about... Thinking is the key, I bought the game. It was really fun!
Yes, you finished the game...

Alot of people that I know will not sit down and play a stop action type of game...Most of the time I would have stopped as soon as I started one. But the graphic grabbed my attention so I play on. I did enjoy it. Some day I will have to find out how the story ends.... http://www.pcmech.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
