one fabulous cleaner upper u got there!!
Made things go alot smoother, n system seems to boot faster!!!!!

cut system.dat by 400k
but doubled the user.dat file size!!!???

is this beacause this PC is set up with 2 different "profiles"? (me n the wife)

Like the name implies, user.dat is the profile of the current user(s), and if two different users (profiles) are used, then each one is given specific registry keys as per the software they access. Hence, the user.dat is bigger, but the system.dat is smaller because both users are using the same hardware. If there were specific hardware profiles set up, then system.dat may increase as well. Ideally, it reorganizes the registry to optimize the speed of use for each registered profile.

Must say it is one cool program,what I like about it's completely internal.Seems most external reg.cleaners kind of guess at what may or may not be needed and can royally screw your computer.I,ve tried a few that literally ripped the guts out of my system.
If you can somehow let windows(as your program does) do neccessary repairs you're ahead in the game.
After running it several times I'm well pleased with the resuls and with your kind permission,would like to post it over on the MURC site.

Question: I'd like to use this on a laptop that will NOT restart in dos mode. Could I at that point just "Shut Down" and then restart using a system floppy disk?
