i like having the show desktop icon in the taskbar at the bottom left along with internet explorer etc.
how do i set this up on my shop pc which doesn't have it loaded as such?

man, it takes all that just to put the show desktop icon on the toolbar!
thanks for taking the time to find that for me.

p.s. if the bottom left of the bar is called the quick launch toolbar, i assume the middle where open apps show up is the taskbar so then what is the right side of the bar called [for clarity reasons]

Oh well, normally the file in \WINDOWS\SYSTEM should be there, so all you'd have to do would be to create the shortcut.

That's it :)

BTW, the area on the right with the clock and other icons of programs running in the background is called the "System Tray", abbreviation is systray.
