Hi all,
Part of my business involves buying and selling used PC's, and therefore sometimes adding Windows onto them.
In the past, I've been lining them up on the bench and getting them going with the install CD.
However, when all units are identical, and I'm dealing with say 50 of them, it would be nice if I could stick in a bootable CD that would use an image file to copy a full install of Windows.
I suppose that even if the installation wasn't with the right drivers then the ENUM trick would work to set it up properly.
The thing is I don't want to install every machine with a copy of say partition magic as a result of the procedure.
XCOPY from a boot disk won't do hidden and system files and I don't want to take the systems apart to hook the HD upto another machine.
Anyone have any suggestions?
