Everything works!

I finally got everything on my computer to work on WinXP all software & hardware.
My Mustek 1200 USB scanner, my video decoder card, Need4Speed porsche, my JamCam, ect... There is not one single yellow exclamation point or red X anywhere in the device manager. I was getting tired of having to boot to 98 when I wanted to scan something, having to reboot just to use a different software program really sucks. The video decoder card I have uses 3 different drivers from 3 different company's (win98, 2000, XP) None of which are from the same company as what is says on the card. Whatever works. Now is the time to ghost this drive.

What are you using to clone that drive?? I have Norton Ghost 2001 and can not get it to clone my WinXP drive. Just wondering what your using. I havn't called support, but from going to symantec's support site, seems like I'll need to upgrade to the 2002 version!!

Glad to hear it's all functioning!

Last time I upgraded instead of doing a fresh install (95->98) I should have been playing Kenny Wayne Shepard's "Everything is Broken" over and over again.

Glad to hear it works ssahl. Did you end up removing Win98 from the system altogether?

Not yet, it's kind of like a security blanket.
I use Norton Ghost version 6 I think. What problem did you have trying to ghost your drive with XP on it?
