What is the port speed limitation?

If there is a setting to run the port speed at 128000 why not use that instead of 112500 or whatever the common setting is?
Would it be the modem that determines the highest speed usable??

Port speed is that between modem and computer. You could actually set it as high as 921600. Interesting question.

I've set mine at 921600 and noticed no difference. It's only gonna swallow what it can anyway. ;)

The one fast setting both had in common is 115200, so there it stays. Runs fine, too.
