Hi,
This tweak (http://www.regedit.com/detail/399.html) is for NT4 users. I use NT at work and have a lot of network stuff running in the background as I'm an NDS administrator....lol. I used this tweak to hopefully help NT out a little.

Again it's a regedit thing so BE CAREFUL! My work machine has 128Mb RAM but I want 256.....hopefully this will help NT some more :).

I wonder what their definition of "large amount of ram" is......I'm running NTW with 96 megs on a 200 MMX.....

large ammount starts from 128Mb (NT was created in the time that 32 Mb was a lot.)

Hi guys,
Well I don't know what 'a large amount of RAM' means in the 'real world. To me it means 128Mb. I used this tweak (maybe it doesn't do anything that a user would see) to help my NT install.

My pet hate with NT is when you log-on and get a message that 'At least one device did.......'. I HATE that!!

I've just got a fresh install of NT SP5. I'd like 256 RAM on this system purely because it's a 'work pc'. It's doing its' job while I might be doing something else......say at lunch-time I surf the Net etc.

I just thought that this tweak helps improve system performance. I use it on my DELL Optiplex GX1 500 at work. It doesn't do any harm anyway!! But I still 'need' 256 RAM :). Know what I mean..? :D.

I'd like more ram too - but I don't wanna pitch what I have. I have 6 simm slots and they are all full with 16 meg simms.
