MS outlook 2000

Hi,
For some crazy reason, outlook has stopped working on my computer. I was in outlook, reading some emails and then it crashed (the whole computer). I tried ctrl alt del, but nothing happened. All I could do was to press the reset button. My computer booted up and then i clicked on the shortcut to outlook. The yellow intro screen appeared and then it crashed and stayed on that screen, luckily ctrl alt del worked this time. I tried unistalling outlook, then reinstalling it, but the same thing happened. I am currently running win98SE and have been using this version of outlook since early 2000. I have also upgraded it with the latest patch from microsoft. I didn't change anything on my computer or delete anything before this happened, so I am lost for words as to why this has happened.

I can't tell you why your computer crashed. But if you hav einstalled SP1 there is no way to just uninstall/reinstall Outlook Successfully. You basically have two options 1. Try putting in the Office disc and choose repair my Office Installation, which sometimes works. 2. Unistall Office completely and reinstall.

hmmm, I've done both of those, but it didn't help.
