Lately my Win98FE crashes at the shut down. And I've no clues about what is causing this. Could this be a hardware issue? Anyone here has experienced the same? Plz help. TIA
BTW I did a complete scan for virii and my system is clean.

My advice would be to get Norton Utilities, your operating system may be having some problems.

Hi Nuclear Krusader,
This is ment in a good way, but have you considered upgrading to Win 98 SE?? It sure does have a lot more to offer, and you used to be about to get an upgrade CD for $20US direct from MicroSoft.

Hi there, TwoRails. In fact, I'll be moving to XP soon. But that won't happen within two months or so.

Hi Nuclear Krusader,
Good luck with XP !!
Ya, Win 98 FE did have a documented trouble, but you should find the cure in the link Cricket posted.
