Drag a folder Icon from either the desktop or windows explorer to the edge of your screen. this will create a handy toolbar on the edge you have chosen as mentioned in another post (sorry I don't remember who it was:(
Now for the +1. Right click on the toolbar and make sure that the view is set to small. and 'show text' is checked. Now at the top of the toolbar click and drag the raised line above the name of the folder you used (I hope everyone knows what the hell I'm talking about because I don't know what to call the stupid thing!) and drag it down to your taskbar. Now you should have a handy dandy toolbar on your taskbar. Now the cool part slide the toolbar over to the right untill all the contents are hidden and only the little double arrows show. Now click on the double arrow and you have a tree directory like the start menu. made out of anything like my computer or my Documents.
By the way this only works if you have upgraded to Internet Explorer 5
