i'm building a small website for a small non profit organization and i have some problems
first of all the website is located at www.mangelbeek.50megs.com
the content should be here tomorow
question one : how can i reduce the kwality ( and thus size) of a jpeg file)
question two: how can i create tumbnails
both of them are kind of the same question i guess
anny help would be mutch appriciated

Any kind of image manipulation software, like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, will allow you to do both of those.
I recommend PhotoShop, since it has the nifty Save for Web feature so you can adjust the quality on the fly and see the results (pixilation and file size).
You can also create a template file for doing thumbnails (say 10 x 20), and just drag in each layer as you go. That way all thumbnails are identical in size.
But if you don't have the cash (PhotoShop is expensive), try Graphics Workshop (I think that's the name). It does batch resizing, so it's good if you have a lot of images to reduce. Go up to Tucows - I believe there's a demo version there.

How can i reduce the size of a jpeg file?
