My thanks for the tip from my earlier e mail on how to set up a web/mail server using my spare PC, and my new broadband connection.

My first problem deals with my Mail Server. I set up the necessary static route in the router with the appropriate ports forwarded for POP3 & SMTP. Then I loaded the Mercury Mail program on the PC, and also set up Pegasus e mail on the server. I can send and receive e mail from my server just fine. But when I loaded Pegasus on my desktop connected via ethernet, when I try to send an e mail I get the following message! Server not found: 'pop."doamin".us' Does anyone know what I am forgetting to do? Is a sharing issue with the server drive, router?
I am not sure what to look at first, any help will be appreciated!
Steve

You need to specify your server in the Pegasus client settings, which might be tricky.

If you're running through a NAT router, you might have to specify the internal address to your server, since not all routers have the ability to loop back to their own IP addresses by domain name from within the network.

If you're also using one of your static public IPs for your workstation this isn't an issue, though.
