I use this Free browser , which has a built in pop up stopper . ( don't add , About Blank , to the existing filter list )
Uses very little resources ( No Add's ) & is as good as any other browser .
Intergrates quitely into your system , does not take over . You can still run your normal browser , if you wish .
Uses the IE engine , but is very fast & stable .

AdAware will only stop spyware related issues. Automatic popups that are part of the loading of a web site will not be stopped by Ad-Aware. You will need some type of PopUp filter or detector, such as Popupstopper.

the new privacy settings in ZAPro are a little too powerful, but very effective. Nothing gets past them.

I use a browser called K-Meleon (based on mozilla) that has a built in popup stoper. You can specify which domains to block and not black as well as the option to disable popups on page loads and unloads. You can get the browser at http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/. Also, its open source so you can make modifications to suit your taste. :)

I use Opera5 as my main net browser. Only rarely do I ever get a pop up ad.
If you want it, check out http://www.opera.com/
(They're up to version 6, I think)
