MY sound card isnt work, I installed it, put the CDROM cable in the CD-in, installed drivers, speakers seem to be hooked up ok. What could be the problem? does analong and ditial in have anything to do with it?

Make sure you volume control is up, it's not set to mute.

Speaker lights don't turn on? Try plugging in the speakers.

I have a boston acoustics set from my old computer (sub, 2 speakers) I just built this computer today. Its an asus P4S533 with onboard audio. I installed the Soundblaster and the drivers and put the jack into the first little outlet on the SB, but nothing happens.

Make sure your onboard audio is disabled in the bios.

I dont think the onboard audio works either, but where do you disable it?

in your bios. shut your computer down and start back up but hold the delete button down. that will get you into your bios.

Check your mobo manual, and find out maybe you have to move a jumper to disable it.
Just a thought!
If not, usually hidden away in the BIOS somewhere.
Hope that helps..

Like wolfie said, make sure that Digital Speakers checkbox is correctly selected. It is located in your AudioHQ software package.
