I have a P4S533 and an SB Live 5.1 in a just built computer. I can't enable my sound and its makin me angry. Device manager recognizes my card and whatever jack I put it in it still doesn't work. Some people say I need to jumper my board (left em all out defaults) but Im not sure what to do. Thanks

Did you disable on-board sound (if applicable)? If so, it may be as simple as turning up the volume

There is also a jumper on the motherboard. You may want to put that on "never" use on-board audio. Do you have the manual? It will show you where that is and also how to disable in BIOS. I hear it's important to read those things:D
