Lost Sound/ME

I lost my sound which has a woofer connected to a USB explansion. The USB expansion is connected to the USB port of the computer. In the control panel of the systems area it shows the yellow ! under usb device. I then tried using normal speakers conneted to the sound card and that doesn't work either. Help

Did you make any changes just recently?

If you want to try an easy fix, if you haven't made any major changes in the last few days, and if this trouble just began within the last few days, use the System Restore function to "roll back" your sound and USB drivers back to where they were when you still had working sound. In System Restore, rollback to a date prior to your missing sound.
