Print Screen???

I want to print the entire computer screen for instructional purpose, how? I hit the print screen button, but nothing happens

After pressing PrintScreen, go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint, and select Edit > Paste, then save the pic.

Actually, something is happening, it's the same thing when you highlight text and "copy" it. It gets copied to the cyber-clipboard.
And just like copied text you have to "paste" it somewhere.
Well, after you hit print scrn you can paste it to a word processing program.

I like to paste it to Excel. The info I copied on the screen usually fits better on "landscape" mode and I can manipulate Excel to accomplish that easily for me to that end, which is very helpful if I'm trying to print out something I copied from my screen.

If you hold the Alt key in while you hit the print screen, it will only copy the contents of the activated window, and not the entire screen.
