Configuring Gnome

Hi,

I have three questions on RedHat 6.2 that needs to be answered:

1. Is there a way to make the Desktop Icons, in Gnome, to be transparent?

2. Is there a way to make the terminal in KDE to be transparent?

3. How do I resize the taskbar (panel) in Gnome?
