Hello, It's me stumped again.
This time I'm trying to figure out how to set up multiple users sharing one computer but not being able to access each others e-mails.
Is there a way using win98se to allow them to have separate logins and not be able to access each others incoming mail?

Okay it's been awhile and I don't have a win98 PC in front of me but if memory serves me right I remember an option under control panel for Profiles. So you can set up 2 or more profiles for users; depending on how many users you are going to have. Being that Win98 isn't a secure OS and it's running on FAT32 or 16 if you are in the dark ages, that you can't really have much control as far as security. Also, if you are using email software like Outlook or Outlook Express you can create email profiles within those apps and have each profile require a password to access their mail.
The options are endless but nothing is totally secure especially when dealing with FAT which doesn't support local security.

I'll have to try that. Btw this isn't to be too high tech as far as security. :P
I just want it so the average user with a little knowledge wouldn't be able to access mail he/she shouldn't.
Thanks
