Printer won't print

I have a Lexmark Z52 for about a year,bought from a friend.It was never used.Few weeks later problem started,bidirectional communication started.Replaced cable with USB.Fine until a month ago.I can print test page and finally nothing.Last weekend I put back the old cable and got the printer to print test but it wouldn't print from web,document or any other source.It just idle.Any help? Thanks

I have a lex x75 and sometimes i have to unplugg for 5 minutes from the wall and then try again unfortually that is lex for ya
