can any one give me an explaination of why my computer will enter a blank screen and quite happyly sit there till the end of time? it doesnt happen @ a certain time limit, i tried to time it to see if there was a patteren, the only think i can connect is that it might be a problem with my ram, because when the ram gets near full it usally happens then, could this be the cause of my probelm? i already have the lastest video card drivers, but i cant find my monitor drivers, the web site for CTX is completely unhelpy, and the monitor isnt marked with a model.

Thanks For Any Help.

black screen and if music is playing it will repeat the last 1.5 seconds over and over, so a whole computer lock out

how long are you facing this problem?
if you remember anytime in the recent past when your system was perfect, try system restore.
-restart the system
-press f8
-safe mode
-if it works on safe mode, press start, programs, accesories, system tools, system restore
-select the appropriate date
-restart the computer.
-if it works , kewl!!
