My mouse stopped working one day, and just presented the following massage IRQ INTERUPT DEVICE DRIVER
I tried to put another mouse but it's the same deal
what's wrong?

When requesting technical help, list system specs, you are much more likely to get an answer that way. There may be options in your BIOS that will enable you to reset the IRQ's, or let the OS manage them. If you are able to, you can check and see what may be causing the conflict, (using the same IRQ) and move it, or remove it. IRQ's are sometimes assigned based on what slot is being used.

On about 99.9% of the systems that utilize a "port mouse" (round connector that plugs in close to the keyboard connector) the IRQ assignment is 12. One should NEVER assign another device to this interupt, it should be soley for the mouse. On systems that use a serial mouse (9 pin oblong connector) most mice use Comm1, IRQ4.
None of the above apply to systems that utilize the USB ports for mice.
