I am working with a someone who is trying to connect an older RAID system up to his home network via his Linksys router/hub.
The RAID has a parralel port on the back and he would like to connect directly to his hub. I have not delt with a RAID system before and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

Are you sure it's parallel? I have seen some setups that use a connector that looks similiar to parallel connector but it's a different interface. Is this a drive array setup or it a complete computer with a CPU and RAM?

It's probably a 25 pin SCSI interface. It needs to be connected to a computer that has a SCSI interface card with the correct external connector with the correct cable.
