I'm replacing my hardrive,and I need to know when I unplug my old one, will all the info remain on that hard drive? In other words,is there a bat. that keeps the info on that drive?

If something goes wrong with the new drive, will I be able to install the old one and everything goes back to normal again?

Just be nice to the HDD as you take it out. Keep it level when you move it around. Don't bump it or drop it, hehe.

How long will the info stay on the old hard drive?Is their a battery in it?

no battery. how long it stays on there is relative to the life span of the hard drive.

It's magnetic storage, just like your cassette tapes. The info will stay there for years.
