ME updated

I just updated my 98se to ME and everyting worked fine except my programms in START/PROGRAMMS are gone. I can load them by going to MY COMPUTER and loading them from thier folders and they work ok. My question is how can I get my programms back in START/PROGRAMM without doing a clean upload of ME or without uninstalling/installing the programms?

I not sure if this will help but you might try going to the start menu>setting>taskbar start menu> and at the bottom of the popup there will be use personalized menu if it is checked uncheck it and hit apply and see if this helps.

Thanks for the help but I found out the reason why. Germany 98se & English ME they don´t like each other
