Which Wireless Router to Buy?

I've read a bunch of reviews on each of the below wireless + 4 port routers and Wireless cards. Too many, I'm afraid. Now I don't know what to believe.

What are some of your actual experiences with any of the following:

Linksys BEFW11S4 and Linksys PC Wireless Network Card WPC11

D-Link DI-614+ and D-Link AirPlus DWL-650+ Wireless Cardbus Adapter

Netgear MR314 Wireless Router and Netgear MA401 802.11b Wireless Card

My needs are modest, 2 desktop PCs in one room running WinXP Pro and a laptop running Win2K in a single story 2000 sq ft house.

I have Linksys NICs in the desktops now and am using a Linksys Etherfast 4-port router. It seems very reliable but I've read the Linksys Wireless router signal strength can be weak.

Help? Experiences?

I set up a Linksys BEFW11S4 and a WPC11 the other night - no issues, good signal strength, and they are both on sale at Best Buy right now. The router now has a stateful packet inspection firewall option (it's an advanced setting) and WEP security is a snap to set up with other Linksys equipment.

That's the set-up I've been looking at too. As I mentioned, I've got Linksys going right now so I know it was an easy to do for a wired lan.

Just wasn't sure about the wireless part.

Both Best Buy and CompUSA are selling the Linksys on sale.

Hey Guardian,

I had the linksys wireless card in my computer for two days.
I found that the cards antenna was too close to my sound card. Causing conflicts.
Had to return the card for the Linksys wirless USB adapter. Once I moved the adapter away from my PC the conflicts cleared up.

I'm currently using the Linksys Set up. I feel that how well it integrated with my ISP it was the best choice. My particilar set up has no computer directly hard wired to the router. Initially you have to hard wire to set the router, but once you set the router you can disconnect.

I'm using the Linksys wireless card in conjunction with the D-Link router. No problems here connecting to the network from the upstairs computer to the downstairs router.

SW: Any problems with setting up security across the 2 brands?
