start tolbar

i have very weird problem. i'm unable to to put a mouse over an icon on the stat tolbar. When i start my computer it works but after a whille for some unknown reason it just stops showing me the name of the program. If i restart the computer every back up and working for a whille and then agen it stops. Netscape tolbar doesn't seem to have this problem neather does microsoft word.

Do you mean the quick launch toolbar by the start button?

what mean is the icon the quick launch toolbar and the ones next to the clock. Also i think i may know the problem i think it's is overheating.I just bought hp from a store 3 days so i'm gona go and return tommorow
