I installed win98SE on my C:\ and MS Office on my E:\
(D:\ is empty for the moment). The problem is that MS Word doesn't seem to access fonts from the "C:\windows\fonts" folder. Do I need to enter soome sort of path in the options in MS Word, so it can get fonts from that folder?

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be an easy solution to redirect word to find the windows\fonts folder. After doing numerous searches, and trying tools>options in word, your best option might be to reinstall ms office into it's default program files\ms office directory. I think by changing the default directory to the e drive , this somehow affected the fonts.

Hi Force_Flow2002
Pawprint is right. By changing MS-Office in E drive and MS Windows in C Drive, the fonts are not talking . Reinstall MS Office in C Drive in Default Directory. It will automatically take care of your headache on fonts for MS-Office.
Good Luck.

Rats.
Why is it that Adobe products are able to to this, and not MS?

There's always at least 3 ways to do anything and I've run onto snags on the bar. I usually type one word, highlight, right click, and change fonts there. Of course for a whole page you highlight with ctrl-A which is pretty much how I highlight everything.

Doesn't work on mine. I can't access font from anywhere in word.
