Yahoo Chess

I went from win98 to win95 and things seem to be running better, i came across a problem when i tryed to play yahoo chess.
I could not get the yahoo chess aplet to download for me, no matter what i tryed, scan/defrag, enable java, uncheck -enable install on demand, rebuilt i.e. 5.0 etc, nothing has helped.
All yahoo help can tell me is to keep trying and hope for a lucky brake, Yahoo help is worthless ! ! Any ideas for a fix, what have i missed - Thanks . . .:mad: :mad:

If upgrading to IE 6.0 does not help, do you have any pop up blocking programs running? If so, they can prevent Java windows from opening, as it thinks they are popups. Try holding the Control button when you click the link. I have PopUp Stopper and I had to do this to play games, like Yahoo Chess.

You can't install IE 6.0 on Win 95.
