Dialup password problem

Hi. I just installed Win2K pro and everytime I connect to the internet via my dialup connection I have to re enter the passord each time.

What happens is eventhough I put in my password and choose to save it it does not stay. The next time I try to connect using the same connection the password lenght magically has increased by 2x, is not correct and then I have to re enter it.

Anyone know how to fix this problem ?

When you try to dial backup with the password being longer have you tried to connect as is without changing the password? I had this happen before it was the right password just 2K added extra **** as a security feature.

:o Silly me. I just tried it with the extra characters and it connected. I thought that since the password had extra characters it was wrong. Well, I learned something new today :)
