Error Problems

Every web page that i go to i get an error that says i have an error on page. What can i do to fix this i have gotten all of the updates from Microsoft. (im using IE)

just a guess but maybe you got too high security settings,
i think you need to give a little more info, which os, browser, which error messages.

i also running win98 on two pc's, i did an upgrade to ie6 quite a while ago, but i was a bug hell back then (actually pretty much everything about it was total crap). i didnt even work properly on a pc without internet. i instantly got rid of 6 and reinstalled 5.5(i found that on my office 2000 disc), works 10 times better. maybe you're having similar problems. i would wait on a second opinion though, im not familiar with ie6.
also could you be more specific on the error message,
or is 'error on page' the entire message? (i havent had that message here yet)

the message is an error on page message. It reads "the callee (server[not server application]) is not available and disappeared, all connections are invaild. The call did not execute

i just typed in the error message text into google search engine, and i found huge amount of links, but there are very much different topics. for instance

here is that message in german and in the beginning of the page
the author makes notice of the calendar problem again.
sounds familiar(i dont know where to find calendar myself)
so it seems to me that its a known problem.
maybe try microsoft's helpdesk.
are you experiencieng these messages with a certain number of pages or is it 'random'?

Open IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab. Under "Browsing", take the tick mark out of "Display a notification about..."
Restart IE.

just curious, does that actually solve the problem or is only the message disabled. (is it a 'useless' error or so maybe?)

you tried mailing microsoft yet? or do some searching in their tech. database.
btw did you have the error message before you got the updates or after.(maybe that caused the problem)

After having problems with IE6 for almost three weeks after downloading from website, trying everything I could think of, which caused a number of problems since I really didn't know what I was doing to begin with, I had to wipe out my harddrive and reinstall everything from scratch. (I needed the clean-out anyway :0 ,) I installed IE6 from the cd, and now my problem is finally solved!
To anyone who wants to go with IE6, I strongly suggest you pay the 4 or 5 $ and get the cd. I got lucky and received mine free from my isp. I guess they got tired of me calling them!
