View Full Version : how do you install programs in linux

I have just got into Linux Mandrake 9.0 and i have never used linux systems befofe so i am very confurse and lost , i can't afford to go back to MS windows or buy XP as i , never the less i have two questions


1)how do i install applicatoin , i want to be able to view , shockwave , realplayer and so on like i used to with IE , how can i do this with mandrake .

2)i also want to install my printer on mandrake how do i do that ?
3) I have two hard drives , how can i view the contexts in those harddrive.
