I am having problem with my internet it connects and then i get a message staing that there is a problem with network , i am using blueyonder broand band with a router that has DHCP and DNS servers , i can connect to the internet but how would i be albe to tell if there has been a hardware confilct or the drivers are not install properly . in other words where can i find device manager like you would in windows help me i am new to linux and just start using it and its great and most importantly its free

I am not a Linux user, but most problems that I have seen with routers can be fixed by resetting the router back to the factory defaults with the rest button on it and then removing the NIC card prfile and re-installing it to return to default settings

i shall try that but i still need to know how to detect hardware fault with Linux system:confused:
