PGP Corp. has released version 8.0 of its PGP software. The freeware version includes file encryption and text encryption, while the Personal version ($39)includes disk encryption, and integrates with e-mail and some IM clients. If you ever send e-mail that you don't want anybody but the intended recipient to read, or you want to protect your files on your HD, this will do it.
Head on over to www.pgp.com to check it out, though it looks to be pretty busy.

The satellite is available in the restricted countries, so they have to block it. Get your dad to download it and get it from him with FTP or IM if you really want it.
