Is there a way in Windows 98 to change the volume label on newly installed 2nd hard drive?

Hi there cv6vb10 and welcome to the PC Mech forums! :)

Yes, there is. Just open Windows Explorer and right click on the drive's icon. You will see a "Rename" option. Pulse it and type whatever name you like.

Hmm. When I right click on the drives icon, it doesn't give me the option to rename. Currently its showing as Disk2part01 (D:). Any other suggestions?

Thanks again! :)

Right click > Properties > Rename from there.
