I found a few things:

Here's the homepage for your QDI Titanium 1B motherboard:
http://www.qdigrp.com/qdisite/eng/products/tx1b.htm
(lots of info there)

In the FAQS, you'll see that it needs a supplementary program to get USB happy. Here's a quote (nevermind the 1st part, but see the section about Win95 OSR2 -the last sentence)
___
Q. Why are there question marks under Device Manager after installing Win 95 on TX M/B?
Intel has introduced 430TX chipset with latest feature of "ACPI", "USB" & "Ultra DMA/33". Since these devices are so new that Win 95 did not anticipate supporting them when Win 95 initially is being released. So you need to install the drivers which you can find on our Website to update Win95. First running PIIX4.exe, then install bus master driver. If your Win 95 is OSR2, then you need run USBSUPP.EXE from Microsoft in advance.
___
. . . in other words, I don't believe you need anything there but USBSUPP.exe for Win95b=Win95 OSR2. I couldn't find it over at the microsoft site (I think they've discontinued support for Win95), but they do have it over at driversguide.com (see my next paragraph for the logon info) http://www.usb-drivers.com/drivers/28/28226.htm

The Win95 driver for that video card is available over at driversguide.com - If you login as "drivers" and use password "all", you can download the driver. (It's a generic login that they allow)
http://www.video-drivers.com/drivers/71/71301.htm

As far as the PCI bridge problem: you can try simply booting into SafeMode, removing it in Device Manager, and letting Win95 redetect it on reboot & reinstall the chipset drivers for that.

Best of luck, and Happy Holidays

Hi GaryRouth , wished there were more people like you :D Thanks for the speedy feedback. I thought I 've to try and wait tomorrow to see if there's anyone post .

Let me try out and I'll let you know if it helps.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday:D
And wishing you a great and prosperous year ahead!

Ok, these are what happened:

Step 1. Installed the USBsub.exe.
Result : It killed the ? for USB.

Step 2. Boot to safe mode, and remove the PCI Bridge.
Result: Upon bootup, it stills ask for the PCI Bridge as it was unable to locate the drivers. So the problem still persist.

Step 3. Installed the vga drivers from Drivers.com.
Results: Yes it finally brought color back to true 24 bits !!!

I'm a happy man.
The hell with the PCI bridge, at least for now:D

Your the greatest!!!

Well, we can't leave that PCI bus unhappy Christmas morning, can we?

Try the Intel .INF install utility to help with that one (I was a little tired & foggy last night & gave you the short version of the fix). Here's the link:
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Detail_Desc.asp?ProductID=816&DwnldID=4241

The instructions you'll want to read are in section 9B 1 of the ReadMe.txt file. I can't remember if Win95b specifies OSR1 or OSR2 [my guess is OSR2, but I'm not sure - it's been a while]. Basically, you download it, extract the files (Make Sure To Get the EXACT ones for your version of Win95! they are in different directories -see the ReadMe) to a floppy, then remove the PCI Bridge from Device Manager, then reboot, and when the Hardware Wizard wants to find the .inf files, you let it search the floppy with the .inf files, and Presto! no more question mark by the PCI bridge.

You should only need to update that component. USB looks happy from the USBSUPP.exe.

Win95 is pretty quick on the P5 233mmx chips, huh? And it boots quick as can be. My 4yearold daughter has that chip and 192mb ram running Win98 - it's still one of the family's favorites, not just for sentimental reasons either: it still gets the job done. Some things are better left for the XP Athlons, but that oldie runs Sesame Street, Pooh Bear, office programs, and the Internet as well as any.

Time to go get my 2nd cup of coffee now :)

Why Gary, that's exactly How I felt too!!! Your pretty dam right it boot fast, comparing with the other AMD Duron 650 MHZ processor than runs on Win98se on the ASU A7V MOBO, with 196MB RAM- it was soo........slow to boot, that I can make a coffee and come back , and it stills not done:confused: It was a bad choice for me to build on AMD on my first, alas, who to blame except myself, who did not do the homework,
Sorry abt that AMD Fans/lovers no offence, but it just my experience.
Even on Intel board running on Windows 2000 or XP Professional on INTEL Board and Processor, they are just aren't fast to boot enough as compared with a Pentium-1 233 MHZ running on Win95 OSR2. But I guess the overhead on Win 9x are very much less as compared to the Win 2000 OS. So the slow boot can be understandable.

Wow, I didn't know you 've a 4-year daughter, wished I had one

:D

Will Update soon.

After downloading the infinst_enu.exe from the link you've guided, I have remove the 'PCI Bridge in question marking' from the device manager.
Installed the exe file without any glitch, and it asks for reboots
During the 1st and 2nd reboot, the infinst_enu.exe works like a 'charm', making peace with all the 'unrest-stricken' intel devices .

Thanks for the 'cure', it's a very good christmas present.
:D
