I am going to upgrade my keyboard and mouse as the ones I have are pretty crap. I want an optical mouse and I thought whilst I was upgrading I may aswell get a cordeless pair. I have seen some cordless/optical logitech sets but have no idea how good they are as this is the first time I have looked into getting a new mouse/keyboard.
Anyway after all that I was just wondering if antone could recommend any? Oh by the way could do with being black as I have a black case/monitor but would could consider any!
I am in the UK but would appreciate any help that could be given to me!
Thanks in advance.
There's a recent thread on this very issue.

Logitech is top quality, you can't go wrong. Check Dabs.com for pricing.

Microsoft also makes great peripherals, unlike some of their software.
Anyways, I like the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (Wireless), although it is kind of heavy with the batteries in. Seems to have a high trace rate as I don't really notice any chop in Quake/Unreal, or any FPS for that matter.
Don't have a Wireless keyboard so i couldn't tell ya. Microsoft and Logitech are the only ones I know of.

I'd recommend the Logitech brand. That's all I use.
How do you guys like the cordless feature? I don't see the advantage but I'm pretty dense.

Cordless mice are really nice, just because the cord never gets snagged anymore. I guess that is one of the advantages.
But, you have to change the batteries about every 6 months, and if you don't you have a dead mouse. :)

Well I have just gone and bought myself a Logitech MX700, it was £50 but it is optical, cordless and rechargeble! Now all I need is a nice black cordless keyboard to go with it.
Thanks for your help guys.
