Pop up window error!

IE6 has decided to block all secondary windows and pop-up
windows. This prevents me from accessing pop-up windows
for password protected sites - banking etc.

Sometimes the window pops up with a snap-shot of exactly
what was beneath it.

I have downloaded the newest version of IE6 and have
restored defaults on the security settings but still doesn't
work!

Any ideas - cheers!!

Welcome to the forums!
go to tools,internet options,privacy from here you can control what is opened and not in popups and cookies you get, you can even do it for certain sites and not your whole browser.
