Virus?

I've attached a screenshot of my desktop before and after my last reboot. As you can see the letters on the left image are what it should look like, and the one on the right is what it looked before I decided to reboot. Could this be a virus? I just ran McAffee about a week, came back clean, and since then I downloaded nothing.

My prediction is that my dowloaded softwares from Kazaa are what's causing this, because everytime I run those programs my computer starts doing abnormal things...

Or maybe I'm wrong?

Hi pc_noob,

Right click on the desktop and choose Properties, click on the Appearance tab and then look in the Item drop down box for Icon and select it. In the Size box, you can change the size of the font.

I don't know if you got a virus or if you installed some program that adjusted the icon size, but I would definately switch McAfee to something else...that anti-virus program is known to be very troublesome.
