hey everyone! long time no see!

my company has two branches: the central office is where i'm located, and there is another one a ways away from here.
the other branch accesses our site through 4 dedicated machines here using pcAnywhere. they are connected by an always on, 56k connection. needless to say, it is really slow.
my question is: what is necessary to enable them to have dsl?
i know it's not as easy as just ordering it... what has to be done on both sites in order for them to have access to our network? there is a service available to them for 200 bucks a month (384k sdsl) that i'm looking at. i'm hoping with this increased speed, they would no longer need to access computers here using pcAnywhere and they would be able to run with their machines down there.

if you need more info, let me know. thanks in advance.

Regular ISP xDSL would work...providing the system at the office is set up as a server, and they would log in through a web, or FTP interface instead of PCanywhere, although PCAnywhere would still work.
If the office PC (server) was XP Pro, then all the software is already included (remote desktop etc.)
All they need to know is the IP of the server.

so then on my site, all i would need to do is punch a hole in my firewall and let them in?

let me give a little more background to my network:
we're running netware 3.12
there are 4 pc's down there, that when they boot up ask to log in to the 3.12 server. once they log in, the initiate pcAnywhere (at first, this made no sense to me, since they're already on the network. why would they need to connect again through another machine? it's actually faster to do it this way).

is there a way i can have a dedicated line that connects them directly to my site?

First:

What kinda data is going back and forth here? Is it just a mail/web server for them or something? Or are they actually storing files remotely? A VPN setup might be the best solution.

Explain in a bit more detail what they do here.

The easiest way to setup remote access would be to have the 4 on static public IPs that you get with the DSL service, and have the Novell server be a firewall in front of them. Otherwise it'll be a bit tricky to set up (especially with PC Anywhere) since you're gonna have to configure each machine to listen on a different port, and PC Anywhere uses multiple ports already.
