View Full Version : MSIE 6.0 Drop-Down Menu Problem

I use MSIE 6.0 as my standard browser and am encountering a problem. The drop-down menu that stores the recently visited sites for easier access freezes when I single-click on the downward-arrow. Everything else works in MSIE, and this issue doesn't present itself in Window's Explorer.
Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Hi Vigilante_26,
Have you updated to SP 1? Also, have you run the "repair" option under Add/Remove programs?

Hello. :)
Yes, I've done both. Both fixes didn't resolve my situation.

Hi Vigilante_26
I am assuming that you mean the History list that pops up on the left hand side? If not, maybe a screen shot would be helpful...

Sorry for the crude representation, but one of my buddies is logged into my FTP... so I had to reduce the size to < 100KB.
You'll have to add the www prefix, as that site doesn't allow direct links from forum boards.

I just fixed it. Copy this:

... and add the www prefix. :)

I'm at a loss right now, Vigilante_26 :( .... I searched the MS KB and didn't find anything useful. All I can think of off hand is there are switches in the Advanced Tab of the Internet Options that can control the Address Bar behavior. Maybe one will help.
