Hi there,

Can somebody help me with my CD/RW. I have tried to load Nero 5.1version but just before it finishes coping the files a message comes up with internal error 2103.48, and stops me from loading the software.

I have had the the thing working or the computer shop has, but I messed up abit and had to reloaded windows 98. Everything else is working fine and I can use the CD writer but I am just unable to load the software to do any copying.

The writer is a cyberdrive CW038D if thats any help. If there is anyone who can help please reply as though you are to talking to a novice, cause I am.

Thanks.

Hi yossa,

Is this copy of Nero a retail version? or did it come with a CD burner?

If it came with a specific burner, it will only load if that burner is installed in the system and will not install if it detects a different burner.

If it's the retail version, then go to Nero's site and see if your burner is listed as compatible, as not all burners work with Nero.

Sorry,

Was waiting for reply but did not get one when needed.

The disk did come with the burner and it also supports it. It keeps on mentioning that it has an internal error. I have checked the burner in device manager and it seems to be fine. I can put a disk in and it will run fine, it just wont let me put the software in so I can burn.
? Could I have a problem with windows and should I try reloading, and do you think this would make a difference

I have tried to download nero from their web site but it wont let me install it.

Answers on a post card please.

Regards,

Yossa

Have you tried InCD?
