i've got a question about the D-Link DI-614+ (shown <a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11159620&m=488&cat=540&scat=1572" target="_blank">here)</a>.
It's an AirPlus 2.4GHz Wireless Cable/DSL Router with 4-Port Switch.
how does this work? how many nodes can actually be hooked up to it? 4? does wireless access eliminate a physical port on the switch?
my lady's dad wants to hook up two computers and a laptop to share his cable connection. it would be great if the main computer could be directly connected to the switch, the laptop could roam, and the other computer (located in a different room) could access it wirelessly. can this device do this?
