I have a new system with a
IDE Plexwriter 12/10/32A CD-RW model PX-W1210TA
and a Pioneer DVD drive.
It was working when I got it and I have made only minor changes- added a Network card, some USB devices, some software.
I get this error if I put the Music CD in the DVD player or the CD player:
CD Player not working properly Win Media Player cannot accurately read your CD drive digitally. Switching to reading your CD drive analog mode. Some items will not work - visual Wow, Graphics Equalizer..
There is no problem with the CD or DVD players in SYSTEM and music WILL play but not digitally.
Also, none of the Plextor Manager 2000 software will work. (The stuff to make CD copys) It says no Plextor drives found or no drive found. But CD Creator software does work and I can make CDS with that.
I can't seem to figure this one out.
I tried uninstalling all the software and reinstalling but it didn't help.
I can't uninstall Windows Media Player because it is intergrated into WinME. I did reinstall it with an online update though.
It isn't the hardware setup because like I said, it was working last week...
Thanks
