It's very strange. The first time I clicked on your links they displayed an OEM version of Win XP Home and some video capture card. Hence my question.

Now they are displaying a GF4 MX video card, which is crap; and a Radeon 9500 which is the VC you really want to buy.

Save $19 and go with the better card. All the articles and reviews that I've read show the ATI 9500pro to be the better card (which is why i bought it)

Personally I'm really happy with it, its a great card. Of course the ATI 8500 would of been and big upgrade from my GF2 pro...lol.

The ATI is the better performer in most cases. Good price on it too. ;)

A Ti4200 is an excellent gaming card for the money.

If not, get the most future proof card the budget can afford.

My budget is under 200. both those cards cost the same on newegg.com. HOw much is the fx card going to be when it actually comes out. Are those two cards about the same performance , just another debate like the intel and amd issue?

ATI 9500 pro is better than the 4200. It is close to the 4600 with reg settings, faster with AA and aniso and is hence more future proof. I think most suggesting the GF4 just prefer Nvidia for drivers or whatever. As far as faster card, def. 9500 pro

Did Nuclear say the GF4 was crap...wait a second I thought GeForce's were very good cards, and why do you say anything with MX in is it a cheap replacement...I was in here couple of weeks ago...and I was aking what card I should get and plenty of ppl said GF4, isnt it a good card?

Gforce cards come in two varities.
Those reading 4 Ti 200, 4Ti 400, and 4Ti 600 are all good cards.
Those reading Gforce 4 MX, and other cards in that line, are aimed at the budget market and are, basically, retooled Gforce2 cards. That means they aren't up to speed for current games and aren't going to cut it for future ones. We're talking technology that is now 3 generations out of date.
Why Nvidia did this I don't know. It's misleading to say the least.
