lost monitor resolution

i have win98 and had monitor resolution set to high color 32 bit, all of a sudden it changes to high color 16 bit. I can't get it back to 32 bit, it doesn't have more than 3 choices of resolution. It has 256 colors,16 bit high, 16bit. Can you help?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your video driver.
