Can anyone tell me what to use to thin rear window defoger paint?
I suppose it depends on whats in it. You should probably ask the maker. But if it smells anything like paint thinner you should be able to use any good quality paint thinner. I would stay away from mineral spirits unless the maker used them. Basically you can probably use any thinner that will evaporate rapidly and not leave an oily residue.

Acetone is your best bet for that, you can get it at any hardware store, you don't want nail polish remover as that's treated.
Why do you want to thin it?

it has got thick on me,I tried using rubbing alkyhol and it just globs up.
It seems to have the smell of ether or denatured alky.
That's because rubbing alcohol has water and lanolin in it.
